Over the past 18 months, 100G networks have moved from the theoretical to the early adoption phase and are now moving firmly into the mainstream, particularly in the core. As 100G networks become increasingly commonplace, carriers' challenge is to develop the most optimized business case for 100G services in the different segments of their networks.
This webinar will look at such business cases for the following scenarios:
- New 100G services over existing 10G networks
- Mixed environments (10G, 40G, 100G)
- Pure 100G coherent networks
We will dive into each network type and business plan, including implementation, challenges and strategies, migration business cases, and real-life success stories.
Topics addressed will include design challenges and solutions, restoration schemes and planning tools.
